Feral high res Zbrush from Silent Hill Homecoming. The original concept had a normal dog nose. It wasn't scary enough so we reconcepted it and I remade that area of the face.

i think i liked your original nose better, the other one probably fit the dog(being pretty much a skeleton with muscle) better
but i think i did, it just looks more full and doggish with the actual nose rather than the lack there of
i'm guessing the company made you change it or something?

Yes, feral had many many revisions. Allot of people just didn't like the design or the way it was implemented in the game so I had to keep changing it over and over. It got very annoying and I didn't want to look at the feral or hear about it after a while.

it sounds annoying to work for a big company, sure your work gets famous and a lot of crazy kids are impressed(or even scared) by it, but it just sounds like you're forced to do stuff
i would never be able to create under cramped conditions in mental terms ):

You hit on one of the hardest things to deal with in any industry where you as the artist aren't in control. You have to do what others want. Even if you think they are wrong and/or don't respect there opinion. Very hard to deal with...

I love the design and detail put into this creature! It looks so canine-like but with that special Silent Hill twist the gamers look for. You did an amazing job designing it even if it took you so many tries.
This has to be my favorite one. (: Good job on the nose, too.
